Carberation
Amazing, I only weigh 150 and I cannot possibly floor the Girl in anything but third gear and still I cant keep the front end own all the time. Have brought the ah ah ah ........... up to 190 kph in second gear!!!! Love it more than my Girl

Brakes
Brakes are great but squeeling in the rear is annoying. Stoppies took a while to learn but now I can do them at 80kph. and I've only been riding for 6 months. This is my first bike!!

Handling
Great. Turns, stops, boots like a god, I cant get over it. Everytime I bring it home I want to take it out again.

Comments
Firstly this is my first bike I have owned and so although I cant compare it I know it is amazing compared to others. I have only been riding for 6 moths and the power is very managable. All those **** out there who say its not a begginners bike cna fu** off. They just dont want the bike to become as common as an F4i. For all the beginners out there, don't settle for anythign but the best. If you are willing to spend enough for the bike, dont be chaep. spend the extra 1 or 2 g's and buy this machine. It is too good to be true, and any of you **** out there that dont believe me email me at zuby_95@hotmail.com and I will drive out to wherever you are and show you that a novice can be the sh*t out of anyone out there. Mind you I weigh 150 pounds, but that doesnt matter, I will accelerate, turn and stop better than any of you boys out there . Email me though if you have any questions about anyhting though, it would make me happy. LAtes P.S The girls will follow you around for a ride, and you will be the happiest person in the world."

Blatantly arrogant. Shame.

Lessons should be learned, but 'no one thinks it will happen to them syndrome'.

That's why you listen to veteran riders who say start small, learn the basics, get experience and work your way up to the bigger power.

There seems to be a misconception about liter bikes. (I don't own one, but just expressing my thoughts.)

Any motorcycle (If ridden improperly or irresponsibly, whether it be a n00b or a veteran rider) can kill someone.

End of Story

No one deserves to die, whether it be cocky or not and I think it's disrespectful to his family by making an example out of his/her death. My condolences.

I don't.

If it were my son, I'd want everyone to know what happened. So this senseless idiocy doesn't continue.

Well I'm not trying to be an *** or come off like an ***, but this isn't your son. I'm sorry, lately I just have been taking death as a serious matter. So I apologize if I came off like a *****.

I don't see how this is everyones fault.

Blame HIM. Blame his family and close friends, the people who could have had an influence on the way he thought and acted.

Oh wait, I forgot this is 2004... blame Suzuki. Bring in the lawyers. GSXR1000's are too fast. The government needs to step in and limit their performance. All sport bikes for that matter. We need more new laws for this. Might as well get a big fat settlement check outta Suzuki while you're at it also.

I agree- that if it were my son, I'd want as many people to learn from this thing as possible.

edited for grammar...

There is another chapter you forgot, and unfortunately so did this kid. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and at double the power to weight ratio of a 600 is a whole truckload of power. In unskilled hands, it *is* dangerous. Yes all bikes are, but stupid fast ones are even more so.

Some pull it off, some don't. The truly sucky part is that the ones that don't...die.

Just another reckless rider gone....

Hopefully a few NEW riders will learn from this and NOT buy a GSXR1000 as your first bike.

Sorry if I seem cold, but maybe some GOOD will come of his DEATH by teaching others that you aren't GOD when you get a bike.

180MPH + No skillz = DEAD

Yet another tale of avoidable carnage. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Bikes are not toys, no-one should be able to lay their hands on a litre bike with such little experience IMO.
