I know this isn't really related to eg civics.. but this is where i usually post, so if a mod needs to move it... do as you must.


I sell a lot of stuff over a couple different websites, I have been using paypal for around a year. I have had a few problems with paypal, but nothing major. I guess I can consider myself lucky, it seems there have been many people who have lost there entire business, thousands of lost revenue, etc...

I am seriously thinking of looking at other options for transaction over the internet and here is why:

Take a few minutes to read through the legal work around paypal has been using to screw people out of money. Read the forums, which are filled with horror stories. I would hate to be in a situation where paypal froze my account and took all my money.. but take a look and post up your thoughts/experiences.

We had something similar happen to us. I use Paypal for personal small sales, but never again would I use it for a business or large sale thereof. I think the safest one of all is bidpay.
