Tail light replacement..i've searched
Hey guys. I've searched around this forum, but have not found any results. My rear right tail light is out when I brake. I'd like to know if it is required to remove the bumper to replace the bulb? If anyone has any sort of instructions of any kind, i'd appreciate it.
usally, no you do not have to remove ur entire bumper. open the trunk, remove those little tabs and some carpet and bulbs should be right there. is this on a 5th gen or a 4th gen ?
same car
There should be some little round black tabs that hold in the plastic/carpet stuff when you open the trunk. push the middle of the little circle tabs and they should pop down. remove them carefully and then pull the carpet away. Bulbs are sittin right there, cant miss all the freakin wires.
If this explanation isnt good enough, try reading the manual that came with the car

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
I know I must sound like a big newbie, but i'm currently sitting at work, with no access to my car at the moment. I was just told my rear tail light was out by a fellow employee. So I was curious, and asked whether or not it needs a full removal.

course not. dont you think it would be kind of silly to have to take off your entire bumper to replace a bulb? if you dont have the manual i can scan the page that tells you how to replace the bulb if needed. glad i could help.
