Hi, i just bought some bosch spark plug wires for my teg. They seem ok but the only thing is a acouple of the bosch wires are longer then the stock oem wires. I would say about 2-3inch longer actaully. I just checked out the bosch website to double check if i got the right ones and they say they should work and the part number is the same 09811.

So would longer wires have any effect on performance or anything like that. sorry if its a supid question but i just want to make sure.

i have bosch wires, also longer than oem.. andi havent noticed a difference

 

yea i didnt really noticed any difference in performance lost by the wires. acutally now that i have them installed i noticed there actaully about 5"-6" longer on some of the stocks, hope this dosnt matter but the car seems to idel soooo smooth. btw i also changed the plugs to ngk g-power platium.

 

they arent exactly the right length because they just ballpark the length and use the same wires for different kits - i hope you didnt pay more than you would have for stock ones
