alright my friend has a 95 civic dx.......it makes grinding noise on power and off power in 1st and 2nd gear.....so the question is could it be that the tranny is shot or is it clutch related.......if it is tranny what trannies can he swap into....and what are the good ones have a tighter ratio then the others....i know your going to tell me the si one.....but i want to know about other ones like integra or other civics.....thanks in advance

 

Does it make the noise at idle?

 

no only when i get on it in 1st and 2nd.....and when a back off the throttle
