How much fluctuation do you guys see day to day when driving your R?
One day my car feels awesome, then other days its like uhhhgg, seems like its falling apart, everything lose, noisy and vibrating, generally crappy inconsistent feeling and I dont even wanna drive it. Is it just me? Or does everyone else experience the same thing?

Time of the year and maybe your mood...
When it gets cold, everything seems to shake and squeak on my R especially on that first start-up. Sometimes I do actually feel like the car is going to fall apart just from the warm-up itself (I wonder what it would be like to have prothane mounts and warm up the car in the freezing cold).
At other times, I think our mood affects it. There are days where I swear it is pulling harder (or the opposite) but the butt dyno is probably swayed by mood I figure.
Then again, I also swear that some days the clutch catches better or worse some days... it's odd... is it because we R owners pay more attention? or maybe R owners have a better imagination?
OT: Does anyone swear that your R pulls harder when you are low on gas? Sometimes I feel it does, but REALLY, how much can that 50 lbs drag the car down, I mean a passenger would weigh atleast twice that... I wonder whether it leans itself out to conserve fuel? /shrug

hahahah i cant attest to mine doing that. sometimes it runs like a champ. sometimes it dont even wanna start.
you'd be suprised how much of an affect temperature and weight has on power...
slightly cooler days = weeeeee (slightly more power)
The squeaks and rattles are annoyying though - especially in the cold. I need to take apart my dashboard to fix this damn rattle that's driving me crazy. Oh well, I just roll down the window and turn up the radio when it gets to be too much

Its definitely not a cold weather friendly vehicle, but it does the job. I agree that some days the car feels great, handling is tight, faster and fun to drive. Other days it seems dog slow, loose steering, extra loud and i wonder why i even keep the car. But the occasional cool day when i take it around some back roads, insures me why i bought the car in the first place.
I dunno its weird. and Im not even talking about changes in temps or humiity and how that effects the car. Im aware of those changes. even sometimes on the most perfect cool day/night the car just feels like crizzzap all around. I swear that sometimes even the motor sounds different under acceleration.
my R feels like crap right now..due to the idiots who changed the brakes forgot to cut my rotars..so now my rotars are worped
I think its all about your mood. On some day's I feel like I'm in the best car ever and it feels so so crisp, on other days I feel just okay.
The noises don't really get to me, however, my rattling carsound cat does, and sometimes the sewing machine sound at idle is funny. I actually love the squeeky seatbelt, rattling interior, howling azenis, squeeling Cobalt GT-Sports. None of that gets to me, but thats because its a sports car and thats what I expected when I bought the thing dammit
I think on the bad days, you guys should all have a regular Civic to get into. If you get into a regular Civic, or even an Si and drive for 5 minutes and then back into the R then you really appreciate the precision driving experience of the R.

Mine is a joy to drive every day. Do without it for 54 days and see how you feel.
Aaaaahhh! It's so nice to have her back!

Mines been feelin a lot smoother actually, like its more broken in. The gears seem to flow together better than ever and she is running like a champ, jus waiting for some new parts in the near future.
Low gas can def. affect the acceleration. 12 gallons of gasoline weighs quite a bit and for each of us who know our cars down to the T can notice the slight change.
I totally agree!! Sometimes it feels so smooth and everything seems right. Other times, it feels like **** and feel so damn slow! Can never understand that....
