Was checking that out yesterday too. It looks pretty slick..... too bad they don't just sell the carbon fiber heat shield itself.

It looks good, but there are no pictures of it in the car so it might fit like crap.

read the text . . . . "Carbon Fiber Look" It's just cheap plastic . . . . looks like *** and I can't say whether or not it'll actually do anything but restric flow with that tiny filter . . . .

If I was going to use one of those, I'd have to paint it flat black, the carbon fiber "look" is really annoying to me. I see it on cell phones, and wallets, and everything

they're probly cool,

but you'd really need to replace the filter with a KN,
thats the main reason I dont trust those ebay intakes,
the filter is imporant.. and I sincerely doubt they ahve a good one on there.

kns are cheap tho.

err.. what sensor..
looks like normal 3" piping to me. just like every other intake out there.

do you seriously think the piping is small just cuz the huge heatshield on the
end of it makes it LOOK small?? cmon

the 99-00 si's have a IAT sensor thats supposed to go in the intake to monitor air temps. You could just drill a hole and put in a grommet.

eew,
if it is plastic then definetely

i dont even know if real CF is all that good at shielding heat,

you probly want something metal,
ppl use aluminum alot.
and you can make your own heatshield,
thats what i'd recommend.
