not sure, but it should bolt up. i don't see any reason why it wouldn't. when i did my swap i took out the whole power steering assmbly and bolted a manual rack from an integra....imo, it was a pain in the *** next to the 5spd conversion.

I talked to Mr. Milano, a board member and he gave me a part number for a bracket that appears to be different from the part number listed for the equivalent power steering part. It was five bucks, wholesale! Anyway, as soon as the part rolls in. I'll be doing the dx manual steering rack conversion to my own Si. I'll let you know how it went, surely by the weekend.

why swap the rack? just remove the ps pump, and loop the lines. you get almost the same feel as a manual rack, save money, don't have to do that bitch of a job, and most importantly, have a better steering ratio.

Its not really as reliable, thats why.
Ive been concidering going w/ the Padawan kit and from there, when the rack dies, do a manual conversion.

I've done this with Padawan's kit and it's been doing fine for over a year. Much easier than doing a rack swap.

show me some evidence.
but i know i can find at least a dozen who are using this method for at least a year, some much more, with no issues.

hell my friend has been running his ps rack bone dry for 2 1/2 years now.

i did a rack swap when i did my motor, swap, so it was very easy to do. i had no problems, took out my old PS from my 94ex and put in a 95 dx rack. never had any problems...bolted right in..
