Hi, Im a noob on this site, so any help would be appreciated. I just recieved a 1996 Honda CRX Del sol off my dad and im looking to modify it, thing is though most uk cars have these 2 extra spot/head lights and mine doesnt have them which means i cant get a front bumper to fit without filling and smoothing it. It also has the Red honda badges (front was red but my dad put on a funky neon blue one) and has a 1.6 DOHC, and is an import from japan. Basically i want to know what model it is????????????

They made Del Sols from 92-97. The 97 was the last and the only year to have a front bumper with out the secondary lights.

The model you have is a Del Sol VTEC which has a B16A motor. A very good and rare find here in the US, maybe less in the UK. Either way its a great little car and very fun.

For the first 2 mods, I would lose the altezza tail lights and lower the car.

they made them 93-97
96-97 had no aux lights

it is a del sol vtec model

 

in the U.S., that is a 96-97 Del Sol VTEC, equipped with a B16A2 DOHC VTEC motor.

for the UK its called a Del Sol VTi.

Yup, do that. Mine still has gay chrome euros, but i have no $$$ to get diff. ones.
