removing discs off a Si
hey i got a 88 civic Si ef3 with zc dohc motor
and whats the process of removing the discs at the front to put new ones on??? they seem pressed on????

there [should be] 2-4 bolts/screws if i remember correctly holding the rotor down. remove the caliper, 2-4 bolts also[not needed to put back on the rotor], and pull the rotor out. i would also gets some stainless steel lines and a nice pad, like axxis ultimates.

You are correct. Once you remove the caliper, you should see 2 small screws (sometimes these get removed and left off, they arent needed ) in the rotor face where the axle comes through. You may need a special impact driver to remove these 'cause they sieze in the rotor a LOT of times.
Once you get those screws off, the rotor may need a little light tapping from a rubber mallet, but it should just pop right off easily.

yeah i brought a impact driver today for $20 got them discs off now thanks peoples
anyone one wanna buy my Si discs now? looks like they been machined not so long ago (no lines or ridges in them)
