Can anyone comment on these tires? Falken Ziex ZE-512's?
Thinking about getting them ..
Ive heard theyre pretty good in wet weather and in dry. Anyone got any experiences with them or anything?

Ive heard they are really good tires. Another all weather tire is the yokohama parada spec 2's. My bro lives in ct and they have tons of snow there....never had any problems with traction. When its dry that tire catches traction quick too.
Yeah I live in Central New York, Syracuse to be exact.
We get more snow than pretty much anyone in the country ..
But, im learning towards those Ziexs' right now. Anyone else?

They're pretty decent tires. A good friend of mine runs them in some 17 inch size on his SI. Not too loud, last a decent amount of time and are fairly grippy. I'd suggest them.

they are pretty good tires for both summer and winter driving however they don't last very long, at least mine didn't. pretty grippy when taking turns and not too loud. right now im riding on yoko es100s and so far so good. low noise and aggressive tread pattern (for taking the twisties a little faster than usual) are a plus, im just wondering how long these suckers are gonna last.
I have a set of Falken Ziex ZE-512's on my 14" steelies for daily driving, and I love them! These tires were "Rated #1 by a leading consumer magazine." (taken from http://www.tires.com)
Technically speaking, you're looking at a tire with treadwear of 420 meaning they will last you quite a while. They feature a uni-directional tread, and you won't be annoyed by any noise cause these tires are really quiet. I especially like the rim protection lip also.
As far as performance they are great in dry and wet weather conditions, but if you're looking for dry grip tires these aren't the ones. I've tried to take a few hard turns here and there and they don't seem to hold up.
I bought a set of 195/60/14 tires on ebay for $185 shipped. Actually, here is a link to the exact same seller I bought mine from, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW
