strange, but I have an 88 CRX Si (gutted out for racing) with no gas guage. I can fit one on the dash but I need to locate the point where the sensor wire connects on the gas tank.

Any ideas? What do I need to look for and where?

PS - 'the gas tank is the large metal tank under the rear of the car' answers may not help me...

the wires are located on the neck or around that area i beleve probley wrong but i am giving it a shot oh and by the way i have never heard of a 1998 crx

Are you talking about the fuel level sender? The wires are the ones that goes into that silver dish under the rear seat and down into the gas tank.
