Yoko AVS ES100 vs. Parada Spec-2 vs. Kumho ECSTA 712
Which would you vote for? I need size 205/45/16. They are all available.
Here's the price for each from http://www.tirerack.com
AVS ES100 - $81.00
ECSTA 712 - $70.00
Parada Spec-2 $85.00
I'm looking for something that's above all quiet. I'm currently using ECSTA 712's at all four corners. I'm only replacing two tires.

Hmm. Where are you buying your tires? My ES100s were cheaper than my 712's.
Oh - and ES100's dominate 712s. Completely dominate. Havent driven on Paradas.

Parradas are absolutly the worst tire after about 10,000 miles. Tons of road noise almost sounds like a busted wheel bearing and the rubber coumpound becomes very soft and starts to imbed small metal shaving from the road which eventually leads to leaky tires.

in the last year i went through 6 kumho 712, due to bubbles popping everywhere. When I had them on my stock gsrs they were ok. I put some 205/40/17 on my rims it was crap, had to get a new tire every month. I now have some ES100s its been good so far.
i think the spec 2's are the best handeling tire out of all of thoses. but the es100 also handles well and will last longer and is much better in the rain
but i would get the spec 2's

I decided to go with the Kumhos for now. I want to keep all four corners with the same rubber.
I'm definately going to get the AVS ES100's the next time around though.
Thanks for the good input...keep the votes coming!

I had my Yokohama Parada Spec 2's for an entire summer.. and they were great when they were new, and even handled a track event (LimeRock HPDE) pretty well... but the noise is insane towards the end of the tire's life
Check out my old thread: Loud, Noisy, Annoying Tires (Yokohama Parada Spec 2) with Sound Clip.
I just ordered Yokohama AVS-ES100 yesterday. Will give you a review soon

F$@% THAT!!! The Bridgestone Potenza RE750 will outperform all those tires in every catagory
for about $10 bucks more a pop its worth it

I've got about 20,000 on my spec 2's and have no complaints, best tire i've ever had, they grip and handle corners great! Yeah there's alittle road noise, but if your looking for no road noise stick with your stock tire size. Your going to get road noise with any more aggressive tire, some alittle more than others, especially when you only have an inch and a half of tire. .
Having owned at least one set of all three of the tires in question, I have been most happy with the ES-100's and will gladly buy more of them in the future.

I say ES100's. In Japan the Parada tire is marketed as a "show" tire. I have almost 35K on my ES100's now, with -2.5 camber in front. I need new tires badly, but that's because they are worn down past the wear bars all the way across the tire, not just the inside edge. They are pretty loud after they wear down, too, but I will probably get them again.

They make a 215/45/16.
It's a sticky tire more suited to autox, although I daily drive on mine and find no fault with them. People are going to start saying how much they suck in the rain, but my experience with them does not bear that out. They are fine in the rain.
Both the ES100 and the 712 are going to last substanitally longer than an Azenis so keep that in mind.
Seing that you are only replacing 2 tires though, your choice is obvious. Wait and buy 4 of the same, or 2 712's right now.
