Well, Im moving into an old farm house so my parents told me i had to sell my civic with my body kit because it was way too low. So I went out looking for a car, when i noticed a type r. Well now im about to buy it...is there anything I should know about them besides all the other stuff on these forms because ive read most all of them...thanks jt

Going from a civic with a body kit to an R huh? 16? If I told you don't get the R you probably would anyways. Like someone else said, don't make yourself look like a fool by plastering **** all over it. If I were you, go with something you can handle...like another civic. When you buy a type R you are not just getting a sick car, your getting a couple thousand thiefs to go along with it. You prob wont have the car for that long...As for parking it on a fuckn farm...*sigh*...whatever....the thought makes me queezy.

congrats, my friends only 16 and he has a 00 itr with HID jdm front end conversion... All he wants it Lojack and mad seceurity ish... that's what you should invest in, since u will want to go to movies and malls and stuff.

I'm 21 and have been throught two cars, one being an 94 Teg (all show). I had to really put into perspective what kinda car I'm getting. A Type-R is not just another car, it holds some value in many peoples eyes. which provokes theift.(one of the major issues with da R) So we can't tell you to get it or not. but what i can recommend is with an R comes a lot of responsibility. I don't know you, but when your 16, you lose the one thing you regain when your older, and that is common sense. so don't go and kill an awsome image by doin things that are out of your reach, and as most people here can agree. DONT add bodykits, huge *** rims, bags and ****. Theres not that many out there, so if this is you. save it for someone that is going to take care of it. Other than that, welcome, take care of her and be safe.

 

y0! I bought an ITR when I was your age. gotta bling it out.

First thing you need to do is get a extreme bodykit like the invader bomex black window wide body kit. Second get some chrome wheels, the small lil stock wheels dont cut it. Third the short oem wing isn't big enough fo such an awesome car like the Type-R. Get yourself a GT style wing. Next step is 2 12"s, gotta bump sum hardcore christian music while u got a type-r.
