Default if i get a ZC and Turbo engine in a 88 crx will I need new engine mounts????? anyone

will I need them and if I do how much will that cost me and if I get that engine and the turbo kit will I need to get a better Tranny

no you won't need mounts... the ZC is a bolt in. as for the tranny i don't know what your options are.

You can use a ZC or Si tranny.

For turbo it wouldn't be a bad idea to use the ZC tranny. It uses an intermediate shaft much like the B-series engines do. This helps reduces torque steer which is common in car that have one axle that is noticable shorter than the other. You can even find ZC tranny's with LSD. LSD and less torque steer will be nice additions to a big' powa' turbo ZC!

Si tranny will work fine though... cheaper too.

new mounts don't cost that much for stock replacements, so you may as well do it while the motors out.
