Default Walked outside... found thieves in my car. *_*

Well, they ran off. Were in the process of trying to start it. yadda yadda.

no. 1229 got a second chance... just thanking my lucky stars...

**** you thieves, **** you all.

where my siren used to be...

entry point, lovely fingerprints (sorry not resized... )

they were actually quite neat about taking off all the panels around the steering column, most of them went right back on...

No!!!

U got lucky there. Time to layer those theft prevention devices. I have a spare autolock from my brothers car if you want to buy it off me Just let me know.

Glad to see that your R is ok. Good thing that the thieves didn't know what they were doing. Hopefully you got some sort of license plate number or something. Time to put her in the garage for a while.

Good luck!

******* ********...I wish you guys could have caught them with a bat or tire iron. If I seen someone do that, you would see a very dark side of me that even I'm scared of.

Glad they weren't successful.

NO CAR IS WORTH YOUR LIFE

I understand the principalities about getting your **** jacked but obviously there are plenty of methods that could have been taken to prevent the initial break in. For one I already know how they got in your car and its the most obvious way to break into all honda's.

Second off even if you did get outside in time with a gun bat or knife or bowling ball whatever your poison. If you let that person live after beating the royal **** out of them how do you know they wont come back to kill you? You don't so please kill all of that e thug bullshit.

Some dude posted in the eg-ek/del-sol forum a while back and mentioned how he caught some theives and beat one so bad he lost half of his teeth and had his skull cracked. Guess who got arrested for assault and battery for protecting his ****?

Yeah you guessed it the beloved honda owner.

Simple way to avoid your problem is one either file down your power lock switch on your driver door and put some double sided tape on some sandpaper to make it movable up and down with your finger. (there is an faq for that **** on this site somewhere) Or just unplug it.
They popped your window out of track and opened your door with your own power lock switch.

And you didnt have an alarm on your car, if you did it was disarmed with a tazer.

third get a lo jack and let them take it... its so much better when they get caught with your ****.

My car was stolen because I forgot to switch on my fuel pump kill switch, and I didnt have that lock switch disconnected.

Lo jack saved my car. I suggest you take some words of wisdom from me and some other folks who had to experience losing their ****!

lori, good thing you and the car are safe. i suggest parking in a garage and getting a back-up battery because it looks like they just disconnected your battery to get rid of the alarm. also, auto-lock and club are you friend.

Lori,

F***, sorry to hear about the break in I figured your car would be safer out in Seatlle than the GTA. Be careful, hope to see you and your car when you return.

lo jack, i think we've seen in the past couple weeks, doesn't work...

i did have an alarm, those are the wires you see shredded in my hand... they ripped out the siren.

this weekend i'd been planning on doing the fuel cutoff & hood release relo to celebrate long weekend, looks like i will add 'install new alarm' to the list... power locks were disconnected this morning... anybody hear about the Vigil GPS alarm? ( http://www.vigiltech.com/en/ ) vs compustar... and seattle guys, i need a good shop recommended....

jiffy lube.. why do you mention that? did you see me there? O_o

car's gonna drop out of sight for the next while.. sigh.

i'm just realllllly really really happy that this wake up call didn't cost me my car... oh i guess i'm happy i'm safe too. ^_^" eee.

oooooh and i miss you guys back home!!!!! i don't have pshop installed on my laptop 'cause i was gonna post pics of my road trip (hence no resize here), but soon as i do i will put it up. i want my torontointegras baby tee too!

windshield sticker. I know here in nj, that I would never under any circumstance take my car there, not because of the quality of their work, which is questionable in itself, but because of the shady, shady people that work there.

ahhhh

i only went there 'cause it was the day after i'd landed in seattle and had nothing with me, and the 3 other places i went to before wouldn't change my oil if i provided my own filter and oil. uh.

then the jiffy guy crushed the oem filter i'd bought 30 mins before by accident anyways....

yaeh some of those guys seemed reallllllllllllllllly sketchy though.. next time will be DIY

Good idea in theory, however, you dont need power locks to easily get into a car. You can pull the window back far enough just to stick your arm in. That is how I get into my car when I lock the keys in it. I dont even use the power door locks. It really does not make any difference.

Lori, I am glad that you and your car is safe. And really boys, is she going to go all thug styles??? Probably not!
