Default H22A civics - Need some help. (suspension)

"» No Results Found"

My Setup:

Skunkworks (the original) springs
Tokico 5 ways
Sir rims with decent tires.

um, just wondering what springs/rates you guys use for your h22a civics.. I can get rid of most of the bouncing by adjusting my shocks but it just doesn't feel "right" unless i'm on pretty good roads... just want your input. time for class. tia.

I'm on GC's w/ custom spring rates; 400F/350R w/ KYB AGX 4 way adjustables. The ride is great, not bouncy at all if I set my rears to level 1. Sel at 4 in the rear and launching is great!

Not sure if I am right, but I think the Skunk 2's have a crazy rate like 375F and 6-700r. I might be wrong though.

I had CG with custom rates, 400f/350r with koni yellows. put some ST swaybars on and energy suspension bushings

work good enough for me, out handled a type-r on the I95

Is anyone running coilvers?

I need to order something soon and I was looking at Tein SS coilovers.

Is there anything else out there? How do you go about getting custom spring rates with the ground controls?

I dunno if this will help but make an inquiry to Progress Group, since they are the only company I know of who make a kit specifically for the h22 civic......btw I run skunk2 integra rates with koni yellows, awesome ride quality, little soft up front.........John

aaahhhh DISAGREE I have tein ss in my hatch, before the 2.2 swap ,the susp. was great.....after swapping the motor I relized that the spring rates ARE WAY TOO SOFT.......2k rears gotta go....... I Tried consulting w/ TEIN Tech support about my application and they are unfortunately clueless....
I am probly gonna just get a stiffer spring from TEIN or if their lack of knowledge about their own product--or suspension theory in general persuades me to sell this susp. and go back to my good ol' G.C./Koni setup

Long story short
H22A CIVIC+TEIN SS = BAD IDEA
H22A CIVIC+TEIN SS+CUSTOM SPRING RATES=(i'll let you know)?

Progress put out H22 civic spring's---I am trying to wait it out to see If they put out a complete susp.
