Palmdale LACR TRACK TIMES TONIGHT. EG B18C powered.
Hooked up with a couple of my friends tonight (RSX-S I/E/Hondata#4, 04 STi, 05 STi and another B18C EG) and went to LACR.
Track is notorious for crappy times, (surface, slight uphill, desert weather, headwind, 2700ft elevation ect.) Times are roughly .5-1 second worst than other tracks.
I'm running my Civic with the B18C GSR homemade intake, with stock 175/70/13 pizza cutters!
No rear seats
Best time of the night was 14.77@93.9MPH
corrected for elevation would be = 14.28@97MPH
My best 60ft was 2.29, those were on skinny *** stock 175/70/13s

Here are some other times of the night.

As for my friends both of them got pretty bomb *** launches from their STi's, 1.8 60fts.
Best 04 STi time 13.94
Best 05 STi Time 13.79
Best RSX-S I/E/Hondata time was 14.94
My friends EG also GSR powered w/intake and RS-R exhaust ran a best of 15.01.
So I'm pretty stoked with my 14.77, especially at LACR. We are heading to famoso this friday, hopefully I'll have better tires, aiming for low 14s, high 13s maybe? wishful thinking
, anyways enjoy guys i'm out.

Skip, I launched at 3500 rpms, 3/4 throttle till I feel it hook up then just floor the biatch. I'm just happy that I beat my friends I/E/ES100/Gutted/Hondata RSX-S's best time of 14.9. With that setup he should be low low 14s or high 13s at a faster track so its really cool.
LACR is horrible for times. I went there and never got any worse times than I did racing back in Utah (home) at 4800 elavation feet and still pulled better times. =X
What's other good 1/4 tracks around here? I know about Irwindale 1/8th, but nobody cares about the 1/8th.

I beat my buddy's Type S on a 55 shot with my GSR'd EH2. Pity about cold temps and bottle pressure...
Nice run on the 175's!

Good times, try to borrow some slicks and you can get your car into the low 14's..
In Virginia my friend ran his gsr eg and he went 14.2 on drag radials, i/e

thanks guys! Yeah I think i need to do my exhaust next, the 1 3/8" stock piping I think is a real bottle neck. I actually checked my tires today and they are actually 165/80/13s!
a lot of the guys at the track were lookin at me funny running on those pizza cutters. Rims/tires is definitely on my to do list.

You're pretty much right on track with me. I ran a best of 14.51@95.20 with a 2.338 60' time on 185/50/16 no-name brand street tires at about 22psi at the Hangover Nationals at LACR back in January.
I have a 92 Si HB, full interior (including subwoofer box in back), JDM B18C Type-R, OEM 4-1 header and eBay SRI. I was feathering the clutch at about 4K on the launches. Cold and windy as hell that day too.

those are some nice times. my hatch ran a 15.1 @ 93mph 2.56 60' shitty times. tells you I cant launch for ****. I need slicks next time i go there. also i have a b18c1 hatch, and that night i went full interior, tools, jack, sub, misc crap in the car too.
BTW. my friends ef hatch ran a 14.5 with just a bone stock b16a and all he had was a custom 2.25 piping, generic muffler and intake. hes car is gutted. though
