Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone knew or a place in So. Cal that coats headers at a reasonable price (~150). I was willing to pay 165 (plus shipping) for HPC or jet-hot. I would like to do this local so I do not have to deal with the hassle of shipping, but if it comes down to it, I will. Thanks for your time and any help.

thanks for the response, i'll be giving them a call. as of now, i am almost certain i am going to send it to HPC. . .

called carcraft. 100 for two coats (outside only) 145 (inside and out), same price for ceramic color and black (only two colors). not bad, but they do not offer a life time guarantee.

 

Swain coating is another company I know that does the coatings. I think their either in so ca or arizona.

 

I don't think swain is located in So. Cal. Thanks for the heads up though. . .any others?

 

Call Ken @ Xtreme Heat Coatings and Headers. They are in Camarillo and the phone number was (805) 388-9983, however they may have moved.

I had them do the headers that I had on my Chevelle and was very happy.

embee. . .150. . .but only one coat in and out. . .warranty against corrosion but not discoloration of coat.

how do you know that? and if that is the case, why do you still go to hpc rather than embee?

header was dropped of at embee on thursday. It should be done in a week. Thanks for all the info.
