so i went to the track tonight, ran a best of 15.8 with a 2.3 60' .

im wondering since, i have an aem short ram intake, and my DX header on my sohc ZC vtec, that goes to a crush bent cat-back, would that effect my 1/4 mile time? my friends said that my DX header is making me run high 15's.

so yeah, i guess im kind of disappointed, running a best of 15.8 with a sohc zc vtec, with a shitty *** crx DX header.

weather: 60 something with humidity.

duh man, those header are small as ****. Restricting air flow for sure. But dont buy too big of header, because you lose alot of backpressure...I found that out the hard way.

 

it would help to get a better one, but i wouldn't expect to go from 15.8 to something outrageous(like 14.7 just from a header). Could be your 60ft times need to be worked on . Hell there is always something that can be improved on your driving techniques. Its been covered a hundred times....

so i think my dx header is bottle necking the sohc ZC vtec. so i think my 15.8 run could've been a 15.5 or less with a decent header least i know its not that my driving sucks all that much
