I noticed that i cant get into first gear when im going above about 15 or 20 mph in my 97 gsr. is this how all integras are? can you disable this lock? because i was thinking this might be a problem if i need to get back into 1st on the track. also its really hard to get into 2nd gear at high rpms do you guys think this is because i need trans fluid or does that have nothing to do with it?

You should be able to get into first gear if you rev high enough for the speed you are going (to get into 1st at 20mph you would probably have to rev fairly high). Just put the clutch in, rev match, and try to slip it into gear. If that doesn't work, and your 2nd gear won't go in, you may want to try changing your tranny fluid and then go from there (check clutch, then worry about actual tranny).
