vtec question
My friends and I have arguments about this all the time. Can somebody please explain to me what exactly vtec is and what happens when it "kicks in". Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If I remember correctly the cams have a 3rd lobe profile. It changes the intake(SOHC and DOHC) and exhaust (DOHC only) valve timing.
