do i have to remove the stock lip on the 94-97 bumpers to put on the 94-97 comptech lip?

 

there is no lip on the stock bumper

 

heres a pic of mine


all you do is screw it into the fender wells and there is double sided tape on the rest of it for it to stay in place. no taking off any part of the bumper.

Yes sir. exactly right. Screws right in

 

do u still have to remove the stock lip to fit the lip properly? u know the little peices on each side of the bumper.

Umm, what stock lip? There isn't one.

Are you talking about the little black that sticks out underneath and comes out more on the sides? That's not a "stock lip." That's just part of the bumper. It doesn't come off.

The Comptech lip just bolts on to what you have.

 

People refer to the bottom half of the 94-97 bumpers as "stock lips" sometimes. And no, you dont have to take it off, the Comptech lip screws and sticks right to it.
