Default FS: Civic hatchback - HC H1 or HPDE car

The car is now being parted out...

Details can be found here for now:

http://www.carolinahondas.com/...37825

I will make a thread on H-T when I finish taking all of the pictures (probably Thursday).

Well, my spending habits have finally forced me to sell this car. I was always too focused on spending money on the car and forgot about the driving part... Below is a partial list of the parts I have sitting around. I will update it as I find more items. Initially, I am looking for a buyer for the car and at least one engine. If you're a serious buyer (you have 12-20k in hand), contact me and we can work out the specifics.

The car will eventually be parted out if no buyer comes forward. I do not really want to start parting things right now though.

Remember, the parts list is just a list of parts... and is flexible.

Out of curiousity, would you sell any of the parts separate from the car?

Yes, I suppose it will eventually be parted out. I will probably wait a couple weeks before doing that though.

Bump for Jeff.

Is the WC mota in the car right now? I'm assuming the Toda'd one is sitting in the garage somewhere?

It might help to supply a itemized list in a spreadsheet format of how much each component costs new and the % of life left on the part.

I recently purchased a similar set up car and that was helpfull, I'd be interested in some parts for future racing if you can't get it sold altogether.

I've ridden in this car for a weekend before it got the SWC-spec engine put in it. The car is very good.

Thx guys...

This was a spur of the moment decision - brought on by an impeding job change. I just thought I'd throw it up to let people know it was available.

I'll work on getting some more detail on the parts - though I'm still not ready to part it out.

I need a B-Series Trans for a B18B swap going in my EG. What would you like to get for any of the three transmissions you have.
Thanks

I've decided to part the car out.

I have kept track of everyone who contacted me and I'll let you know when I get the for sale post up... hopefully tomorrow if I can finish taking pictures of everything.

How tough would it be to put back to CX specs (for ITC)? Do you have the original engine/trans/suspension?

Thanks

I do not have any original parts for the car.

You would have to change:
- rear control arms
- rear trailing arms
- rear brakes
- front knuckes
- front brakes
- front subframe
- steering rack
- brake MC and booster

My first thought was that it's not worth it. Then again... you could probably get the needed parts for free (including the engine/trans - which I do not have), or next to it, and make a decent amount off the integra parts you were replacing. That's a lot of work though.

Thx Karl... I'm really hoping a H-C racer wants my H1 engine... I don't know who I'd sell it to otherwise.

Here's a link to the "parting out" info:

http://www.carolinahondas.com/...37825

I'll create a thread on H-T when I finish taking all the pictures.

BTW... I can still do a package deal if anyone's interested.

Regarding the engines -- I'll be a little more flexible on their pricing than I can be on the smaller parts.

And the shell... I'm not sure what a fair price is. I picked a price less than what I have in it and I'll go from there.
