Default where to get a head linebored in SOCAL

buddy has a head that needs to have this process done due to the head not coming with cam caps...where in socal please,and how much?

ummmm just about any automotive machine shop will do this. Have you tried the phone book? Look under the "a" section then Automotive then automotive machine. Its not that hard. I bet it takes longer to type this **** on HT than to call a shop or two.

If they can line bore a block, I don't see why they can't line bore a head. Same process, different diameters.

I haven't called to check yet... but they say "head rebuilding". They have built a few motors that belong to people I know, and I can say that it some of the highest quality.
