relocated battery - how to make it scca and ndra "legal?"
I currently have a stock battery relocated to the passenger's rear side of my DM prepped hatch. That battery is on it's last legs (I need to jump it off occasionally.)
I am about to buy another battery, and have been considering those 9lb gel batteries... BUT before I purchase, I want to know what I will be required to do in order to be SCCA and NDRA legal.....
Will I need a sealed box? Will I need to vent it to the exterior? Or can I just throw it in the back and bolt it down?
I know I will also need a kill switch accoring to ndra rules.....
Anything else?

If your battery is a gel-type it does not need to be enclosed for SCCA... there was a thread in here about it not too long ago.
