Default brake caliper dilema (retaining clips)

ok so i bought a set of rebuilt calipers on ebay last year and the part number on the calipers match up to the part number on the stock ones. the problem is that the retaining clip doesnt fit since the hole on the new calipers is smaller compared to the stock ones...what retaining clip can i use? do i need to actually use it or will i be fine without it?

can you describe how it doesnt fit? if its just the edges just file them down a little bit, and yes you do need those.

why dont you get a file and file it wider? or get a dremel tool or barrow one from someone, or get a sanding bid for a drill and sand it yourself.. not that hard

oh, and if they re-coated the caliper with that blk stuff.. then it could of just made that spot a little bit wider then stock/origional, so you can sand that down some too.. if u dont wanna make the slots on the metal peice wider

well yeah.. lol.. its not that hard man, if u just work on both sides of it.. or file the retaining clip.. its not that hard with a dremel or a sanding tip on a drill

well i was pointed in the right direction and was told they are 94+ integra calipers and to get the clips for them...

i thought 90-00 were considered the same since rotors are the same...
