Well Now that I've hit the birthday where there is nothing left to look forward to. You know , 18 cigarettes,21 booze, 25 insurance reduction.. I am actually looking forward to the insurance bill this month. $350/mo. is way to much to be paying.Cut in half would be nice. What kind of reductions did other people receive?

Its been a rough month for my car.So far this month I have gotton a ticket in the mail for not paying a toll, had a 2x4 thrown at my car(which hit it), and to top it off, someone tried breaking into my car the other night at the mall. The stripping inside the window is all notched up.
Damn I'm getting old, but still not as old as some of the people on H-T

I wouldn't expect it to go down much, if at all. Especially if you own an ITR

Edit: $155/month for just the ITR -- and that's with a clean record, and I'm 31

 

See, when I turned 25 I was expecting the same thing.... only to learn that the insurance cost reduction did come till the age of 27. Seriosuly.

i pay 131 a month for full coverage on my teg..(91)...it went up 4 buck this year tho....im only 20 too!

 

A friend of mine just turned 25 and his insurance was almost cut in half. At this point, any reduction will help ..And I cant buy anything expensive for myself with insurance costs like this.

 

I'm over 25 and married so I am only paying $80 a month for my ITR insurance. This is South Carolina with State Farm and a perfect driving record. If you are paying $350 a month now I would expect it to drop to $225ish a month. Your rates also do not change until your next insurance cycle.

my insurance goes down when i turn 21 and then 24. i know every other one is supposed to be 25.

its a myth when u turn 25 insurance drops, i have no points on my liscence but when i turned 25, it stayed the same except for my yearly drop of 100 bucks

Happy Birthday Sven!! You might get a minimal reduction if any. Your next decent rate reduction will be if when you turn 30. If/when you get married, they also give you a decent reduction. I guess they think you're more "mature" when married.
