Car is stock except for a K&N filter or intake kit. Got 144k Miles, cloth seats, and no accident. Buying from an original owner. He's selling it for $5000, but I got it down to $4500. Can I get him to lower it? Let me know ASAP.

that sounds kinda reasonable. although u could prolly ask for maybe 4000even. i mean, 144k miles... thats kinda high. but yeah, for a GSR, thats a fair price.
But what condition is it in otherwise and where is it located?
That's dirty cheap for southern CA standards. Can only find GSR's that cheap with a salvage title around here.

Single owner, no accidents.....
do a compression and leak down test and if your numbers are good then snag it. there aren't many gsr's that are clean for that price. how is the body, engine bay, etc?
show some pics and we can help you out more

The title is clean, and there's no engine problems so far. The xterior is good, just a few ding and dents, which is hard to see it, unless you focus on it. Color is black with tan interior. Going to take it to a mechanic for the weekend, and see how it goes.

Looks like this car was taken care of, at least on the outside, we can't see the inside but I 'm sure that's clean too.
I can also tell he doesn't corner hard or go crazy with this car, because he still has a nice size gap between the tires and the fenders. Normally Integras with 144k mi. have sagging springs and shocks and sit much lower. They look like they have aftermarket suspension but they don't.. I dont' see that in this car. BUY it. I see '92-95 Civics in the paper for $4500 with similar mileage!
Actually there's nothing wrong with 144k mi. We have GSRs with more than 140k mi. that auto-x regularly. Just do the timing belt, adjust the valves, plugs, good oil, etc. and it should easily break 200k.

Um your kidding right. GSR's with 160k go for 5k and those are hard to find. That isn't high miles for a GSR they ruin forever and are very reliable.

I thought GSRs didn't come with leather till '99. My friend's '98 doesn't have leather. I would assume the '97s didn't either.
Are you saying only black GSR's came with leather in '97? Sounds strange. Acura normally doesn't give out "free options" just because of the color of the car.
