I just got a dent in my oil pan. It looks kinda bad but i don't know if its too bad. I would like to see some pictures of denteted oil pans to campare with. The oil light doesn't go on so i guess its flowing well. The dent i think is from a drive way and its to the right of the exhaust header. Its about 3" long and maybe 1/2" deep.

Your oil light will only come one when the oil pressure drops below somewhere around 4 psi. By then, you're engine can be toasted.

Why don't you take a picture of your pan and let's decide if yours should be replaced or not?

It doesn't look to bad now that i look closer. It just looks rasied a little bit under neith i've seen some other ones for sale that have similar dents.
