Default NHRA rules for exhaust question

Is there a special place that my exhaust has to exit if I have an exhaust cutout installed on my car.. I have heard some people say that it must be behind the drivers side door but im not sure.. I still want to run in the street classes..

This is on a turbo crx.. Thanks

are you talking about SFWD? If so, you have to have exhaust exiting over the rear axle.

I understand the requirements for the classes, but WHY an exhaust for the SFWD?? Dont need it for Nopi. You can run a 26" slick but must run an exhaust.

Those are the class rules, It was intened for street cars. Dont say you car goes slow with an exhaust thats not an excuse. jason hunt, brian ballard, and the rest of the SFWD cars9 and 10 sec regestired street cars. At nopi you can do what ever you want.
