Porsche Brakes?
Hey, so I did a little searching, although I see most people upgrade to the Legend/NSX brakes, and I'm wondering if anyones ever done Porsche Brakes, I know they're manufactured by Brembo...but I've also seen them on a few Integras. Has anyone else seen this done? Also does anyone know how this is done, or how to do it? Thanks...
cooltech and some other brand did an upgrade using these back in the day. You have to have a bracket to use, much like the bracket thats in the AEM big brake upgrade....ofcourse thats only if you use bigger rotors.
Porsche brakes? If you mean take them out of a Porsche car and put them in our cars, they won't work that way. Sorry.
If you mean use the same manufacturer as what Porsche uses, then yes, you can.
Note that there are many brake options out there that are the same price and/or cheaper that will brake better than these so-called "Porsche Brakes."

dont bother, you need to be putting out some serious power to need "porsche brakes" or another more affordable equivelant. If you had this power you wouldnt be asking this question.
On a lighter note, I saw "porsche brakes" on a new beetle the other day. He matched the calibers to valve cover and the valve cover to his flower holder.

I see...interesting. Just wondering. I wasn't saying that I had that kind of power(because if I did, I wouldn't be asking), but I've seen them on some cars...they say they're from AEM and just have the Porsche logos...I just didn't know how it was done. Thanks though.

Those AEM ones are kits from AEM. They have large cross drilled/slotted rotors with the anodized center piece for bling.
Depending on how much money you want to spend (or how much bling you want), you can either stay with your stock calipers, which will give you a system with no braking improvement, a better looking brake system, and even possibly less braking performance. Or you can go with the AEM calipers, which I believe is a 4 or 6 caliper system which costs quite a bit more. That will definitely brake very well.
