2nd GEN integ! HELP NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!! Please look.....
i have a 92 integ coupe. ive been riding on my suspension for about 6-7 months now, tokico illumina shocks with ground control coilovers and ingall camber kit for front and rear. just recently, ive noticed it start to squeak while going over bumps slowly, running over just a little uneven pavement, and also on small potholes, very small. the squeaking appears to be coming from the front passenger side. i tried spraying wd40 but that didnt work. has anyone had this problem before? this is so irritating. you can hear the squeaking from the outside because i let my friend drive my car and i heard it driving next to him. also, when i hit a small pothole and my tire gets in there, i hear a big bang. i dnt know whats going on ? can anyone please help me? TIA!
try putting some grease in btw the tophat bushing and the top of the spring for the squeaking, as far as the bang goes, thats your tire hitting the upper inside of the wheel well, get used to it on a lowered teg
Sounds like the bushings in your camber kit are rubber and need some grease lubing
.. also, that bang is most likely your UCA's hitting the fender .. how low did you set the car?

i dont think its your tire hitting the fender wall. i never heard of that, my cars lowered 2 1/4 inches even with my car full i still never heard of anything like that. try lubing the bushings one by one and the go out for a drive or even lube it with the tires off and turn and push on the suspension to see if it makes the noise. a suspension noise can be a whole number of things.. usually when i see a bang noise from going over a bump, its related to the shock possibly or tie-rods. have it checked out. it could lead into something dangerous.
It's most likely his upper control arms, especially if he only noticed the noise after lowering the car and adding a camber kit.

thanks for all the feedback guys. what kind of lubrication should i use. and where should i spray it exactly. im new..lol
A spray-type lube won't solve the problem of the rubber bushings, you'll need a thick grease (I can't remember the type, but I remember buying a tin of Castrol heavier duty grease), and pull the rubber bushings out, lube them, and reinstall. That will completely get rid of the squeaks. You won't have to completely remove the kit, you should be able to unbolt them from the shock tower and swing them down far enough to get at the bushings.
I thought I had the same problem. I swear to god its your bushings. Think about it, most g2s have over 130k on them; mine has 180k. I want to invest in the ES Hyper Flex kit. I bet if you replaced all those bushings your car would sound a lot better. I doubt its your camber kit if you greased it up really good the first time.....
welcome to the wonderful world of an lowered integra...its the gc that are sqeaking most like because of dirt and crap and that loud bang is probably your camber kit in the front the top of the shock are bolted in at the top....do you notice and a bump or a crack in the paint in that area
