Mine was my ignitor, also why your car may not start. Or Coil. Drove me nuts b/c my car would die after running for more than 20 minutes.

If u want to get rid of the eld code. Change the engine bay fuse box on top of the shock tower. Thats what we did on my buddys crx and it went away.

also... if you had a b16a, and you had to add the 4 wires, 2 vtec, knock, and 2nd o2, then you go back to a us ecu it will throw that code. Its because the eld is removed for one of the wires, then you dont replace it and walla, code 20.

PS, jdm pr3, exc... dont look for a eld

in canada 88-91 civ/rex use the eld in the fuse box. In 90-91 rex/civs they don't have the eld if you use a 88-89 ecu in a 90-91 it will throw the 20 until you change the box

Some Canadian Civic's will not have an ELD. If you don't have one to begin with don't worry.

which ground connection did you fix or replace?

is there a specific ground that effects the ELD? or should I just shut up and search them all?

exactly how do you check for a bad ground?

TIA

BTW: nice sig StupidSlowCRX
