What boots are comfortable??
I was wondering what kind of boots you guys wear and how comfortable for riding and walking. I was looking at getting joe rocket boots or shoes, i will probably be tracking sometime soon so i thought that i should just get some good boots.
I just got some Icon super duty boots. They're awesome!..they feel great and look good just wearing them casually with jeans. I have the "stealth" model. I got mine new off ebay for $45 shipped but they usually sell for around $70.
^^^ what he said, they are awsome for the price, you can get them for less then 200$ and they are very very very comfy after they get done being broken in....
Sidi Vertebra 2 <-- my current fave
AGV Pro Roadrace <-- backup boot
The Vertebra are great boots - extremely comfortable but supportive. The AGVs were not as nice. My main beef with the AGV is the Achilles heel guard - the plastic piece there started to cut into the "leather" of the boot. Both are easy to walk in, but the AGVs make squeaky noises when walking.
Regardless of which boot you get, make sure it covers your ankles. And check the screws before you ride EVERYTIME. My AGVs almost fell apart because I neglected to do that.

if you get the new sidis and do alot of tracking there nice to have cause you can replace all the plastic on them if you drag alot, so it works out awesome for track days!

Same here, I leave a pair of shoes at work so I can change.

Yeah thanks guys, the whole thing was i got the icon motorhead boots and they are too big, they fit right but its too thick and its impossible to shift. SO EVERYONE KNOWS, DONT BUY IT!! so now i have to find something else, and it has to be at kneedraggers cuz i sent em back so they only gave me store credit.
I have the alpinestar Indy's i love them easy to shift verfy comfotable and look good with jeans if u get all black i'll recomend them to anybody that is looking fora boot/shoe....
not a bad idea. Any luck on the bike shopping?
<< a* smx+ here but that's b/c they're free... I'd probably buy sidi vert2s if I had to pick one. The vented ones are nice for tracktime.

It's hard to find comfortable and somewhat fashionable riding boots especially if you're a girl. I've kinda just given up, since it seems like a lost cause. I'm just going to use a pair of leather stilleto boots.
Not the best, but it's better than walking around like you have 50 pound weights on your feet while wearing a pair of men's alpinestars.
