fmic how did you mount yours
I don't know how many responses you'll get in this forum but you might want to post this up in the forced induction forum. I'm sure the guys there could help you out too.

i centered mine to the bumper support. then i put L - brackets up into the bottom of the bumper support, then i attatched the hangin side of the l brackets to the tabs on the intercooler. i just did it last night so i dont have pics

heres mine, it has brackets that go up through the stock holes on the rebar and bolts to the top of the rebar.

I used picture wire and wound it over the bumper support and under the side ports on both sides. Holds up the IC and when the pipes are put on it doesn't move much at all. Can't see it either unless you are down on your knees looking thru the bumper.
i just had 2 aluminum tabs welded on top of my intercooler, than i drilled holes through the bumper support and bolted it on. Also to prevent anyone from being able to steal it i welded the nuts of the bolts to the bumper support
heres mine. i removed the bumper support and used the included aluminum tabs that were already welded tothe intercooler and mounted the intercooler to the bottom of the radiator core support.

nope. air passes through intercoolers jusdt as easily as they do with radiators they can not block air unless of course the fins are clogged up with massive diry and debris....
you can shoot water through intercoolers too you will see that the water just goes right between the fins as if nothing was there.
