so I've only had it a couple days, but I"ve noticed a good amont of pinging below about 4000 rpm. being that it is as such a low rpm I doubt its' going to do any damage to it. anyway... I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this one theirs... and yes I am using premium gas...


for anyone consitering this bike... I highly highly recommend it... 3 thumbs up...
handles as well as my F4i... gets better gas milage... and turns everyones head who looks at it...

 

I have always stood by the theory of not to buy a first year model. As sick as all the new liter bikes are, I think I'm going to wait until the second or third year of the model comes out. That way they get ALL the bugs worked out.

 

do you know what pinging sounds like?

 

Bring it to your honda dealer and have them deal with it don't just let it be.

 

What octane gas are you putting in it? Call your dealer!

 

I've been a mechanic since I was about 2... yes I know what it sounds like haha... I did get the 5 year warranty just so I wouldnt have to worry about it... if I blow it up oh well...
