Default difference between h22 transmissions?

I have a '98 H22A4 that I need a manual trans for. Does anyone have a link to different gearing available (or even just a general rundown)? Would it have to be a '97+ trans, or would any pre '97 trans work (was pre '97 cable?). I'm familar with B-series, but find myself really lost with H...please help.

EDIT: I found the link to gearing on H-T, but I still don't know if pre '97 Trans are cable.

Any Prelude Tranny, or 2.2 Accord transmission from 92-UP will fit your car. The only difference is the gearing.
