Sensor question??
Hey guys. This past weekend I swapped a 95 d15b into my 91 Si and there were two sensors that couldn't be hooked up but I'm not sure what to do about them.
Sorry I don't have pics but I will try to describe them as best as I can.
The first one is on the back of the block next to the oil press. sensor. It has a two pole connection. But it was not present on the new motor. From some research I did I was thinking it might be the coolant temp sensor. But my temp gauge is working.
The second thing is bolted on the back of the intake manifold, and it has a vacuum hose connected to it. That is pretty much all I can say about it. But on my newer manifold the is no place for it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this guys. Any help is appreciated.

the first sensor is your thermo switch. it turns on your radiator fan once a certain temp is reached.
the second one sound like a ivac or fast idle intake valve.... not sure about the second one with out more explanation....
you can hard wire your fan to a switch.... but i would not run my car with out having a working fan...

Thanks.
The second one is kind of hard to explain.
This is the best pic that I have to show you guys where it is. the geen is where the sensor is located, but in the back of the manifold(can't see it in the pic). But that is it's location. And the Idle air control is circled in red. It is hooked up and functional

Hope this helps
Thanks guys
