Default Why doesn fuel cut happen in 1st or 2nd??

I have a hard time understanding fuel cut sometimes. Its always different on different makes of cars. And even if you drive the same make it can act different with the same setup.

From what I understand about 'fuel cut' is that your MAP or MAF picks up the amount of air pressure running to you engine. After it senses air flow it sends a signal/pusle to your ecu. Once the singal/pulse reachs a certain voltage that the ECU believes is dangerous to your engine to run on than as a safety procausion the ECU cuts fuel and ignition.

If that is the case than why are some cars able to boost to there max set psi in the first and second gear without a cut?? Does it have to do with load and your map curve?? Does it take that long for the "cut" to actually happen?? Could someone explain this to me.

With something that is electronical or mechanical you shouldn't have to many factors that would interupt the way that the device acts. One would have to be tempeture...could it be that your engine isn't picking up on the lean enviroment because of the piston chambers temp or exsaust temp say because of the O2 sensor??

Someone help me out...this has been confusing the **** out of me. Why is it that sometimes/almost all the time you're able to boost in first and second gear with a car that is getting fuel cut??

So Forced Induction doesn't want to take on a difficult question huh?? I figured this thread would help out alot of people understand fuel cut alittle better. Ok Ok...waste your time answering questions like 'what turbo should i get' or 'if i rebuild what should i get'.

Well I figured there's only about 15% of this forum thats going to be smart enough for this question so bump for those selected few.
