Damnit in OCTOBER all the points were coming off of my license (had a accident). Anyways I was getting on the freeway and there was a van in front of me that was going dangerously slow to enter I-95. I was coming down from the on ramp and passed him on the right when I entered the highway I seriously could not have be doing more than 70-75 MPH as soon as I get to the base of the on ramp and try merging I almost get side swiped by a state trooper. So I pulled over he jumps out of his car with his flashlight in hand shines the light in my face and hits my helmet with it(softly). They start lecturing me on how 7 people have died and how " I WAS GOING TO RUN IF IT WERE NOT FOR HIS GREAT PINNING TACTICS!" I got two tickets , "CARELESS DRIVING" and "Obsene tag" <~~ should prob. be "obscured" but this guy was an idiot. Telling me how my tag location means I run from the cops blah blah, although I bought the bike like that. BOTTOM LINE is that they were ******** and I will NEVER stop for cops again.EVER!

Same thing happened to me with their pin techniques... I would call the police station and file a complaint...

I was down by Jones beach and one of the guys I was with pulled his helmet up for a second so the cop pulls him over. We were infront of him and were going to pull over up ahead but slowly onto the grass and the cop rolls up next to me from the grass and says pull the F over or I'll run you off the road (and I dind't even do anything). He made a statement about bikes running and was basically instigating us to run. He ended by saying, chances are you pull over and you won't get a ticket. I shoulda filed a compliant.

 

I cannot stand the cops on power trips. I am not trying to act hard and gangtsa! But I ******* hate most of these ******* cops. I wasnt even speeding maybe 10 MPH over which they couldnt possibly have noticed and they pull me over for illeagally passing a car which was going 30 MPH and they make it like I was hauling *** and running from them and they tell the girl on the back of the bike how she shouldnt be riding with me b/c sahe is asking to die blah blah. They were peices of ****. Making a federal case out of me passing a car!

 

go to court and talk to the prosecutor. They will usually drop the tickets down... Anyways, that freakin sucks man...i hate cops like that. I've only been pulled over once before on my bike and that was in my neighborhood. Cop was cool tho..told me to be careful when i do wheelies

Don't pass cars like a ******* idiot and you won't have these problems. You would think that most riders would be more careful than the average driver when passing cars and riding in traffic

I hate tracffic cops with a passion, biggest hypocrites/crooks, like they never speed or do illegal maneuvers in there own cars... good luck with the ticket, i know im permanently fucked.

well i jus got a ticket 2dayz ago! He pulled me over for unsafe lane changin, speedin. not signaling and i dont have plates. thas becuz my bike is new. He was after me for about a min. Cuz i couldnt hear his freakin horn or see his damn lights. I wasnt speeding, i did not cut the guy off n the car behind me was miles away so i didnt signal. HE was coo tho, he told me he was gonna only give me a fixin ticket. He went to his bike n picked up his writin pad. He told me to pick between unsafe lane changin n speeding. n i ask him" i thought u gonna give me a fixin ticket" After he said" ok, ima give u a fixing ticket n for not signaling, so the ticket would be cheaper". After he told me to have fun on my new bike, n to alwayz wear my gears. i got used to gettin pulled my cops in my car n bitchin to them. But u kno wat? U jus cant win! Jus take the ticket n see them in court if u think ur right.

I agree man, traffic cops suck ***, thats the reason why i havn't got a ticket sence i bought my first bike, the only time ive ever gotten tickets is in a car....they are ******** and will always slam you with anything they can.....i despise cops a great deal

That's the exact reason I stopped riding that bike! I knew that plate would get someone in trouble one day!

They hassled me and I don't act like a jackass on my bike... ever. They just dislike the majority of sportbike riders as they do people who have modified cars.

 

There is areas that I would not go because I knew that cops are known for being "unfair". I did not want to get in trouble, so I stayed away. IT boils down to the cop. Some are more easy going than others.
