I hate to be the first to sayit but there are so many threads on this.....try to do a search before you post.

The swap itself is usually pretty straight forward. You will need a mount kit. A helms manual would help too.

You will also need a cherry picker/ engine left as well and a few buddies wouldn't hurt.

edit:

there is ALSO an ARCHIVE thread that is at the top of this forum. A lot of very good info is in that thread.

You don't need a cherry picker, nor you need the whole mount kit. You can peace one together from other cars, like integra, del sol.

ok it looks like im going to need the motor mount at the transmission end and the motor mount at the timing chain end....is there some sorta of a converting motor mount im going to need when going from the d series motor to the b series... i did have in the car a 1.6 SOHC VTEC...and it was a 96 HONDA CIVIC EX COUPE...if the stock motor mounts off my old motor would work i still have a problem...i think i threw them away......so i need to know what exactly i need...

Pretty much the easiest thing i need to know is what motor mounts will work in my car...like i said

i have a 96 civic ex coupe 1.6 sohc vtec... so what motor mounts will bolt to my car and the gsr b18c1 motor
