just worried about all the other sh*t that might go wrong
cause the car isn't really built for turbo....plus is it worth it....when i can get about the same amount of power from better cams....and head work....cause i think i can only have like 8lbs of boost

Too many factors for us to give you a yes or no answer. What type or driving will you be doing, daily, track, auto-x, auto-cross...etc. What are your future plans for the motor internally. This really comes down to what you want to do and how much money you want to spend. ITR plus turbo can become expensive and if your **** is not tuned properly you can damage a perfectly good motor that puts out great #'s N/A from the factory!

I would do it, and no you won't get anywhere close to the power you will make with just cams and basic bolt ons. As long as you do the turbo right tuned and all you should be straight. Don't cheap out on anything. I love my turbo R

It really depends on what kind of turbo it is and who makes the kit. Also your N/A Type R will never make number's like a turbo'd one, just lower your compression a bit and boost the hell out of it. My Type R is turbo'd and I'm only running 5psi and the thing spins 4th pretty hard on the highway.

Doesnt matter what we would do. Its your car.......

Do the research, define your goals, weigh the options, determine whether its in your budget, and then figure it out.
