O/T - Difference between Insurance and license points?
Thought id ask yall in here. I just got another freakin ticket in my teg... got it downgraded to a 2 point violation (careless driving). My lawyer tells me that it wont effect my insurance but i thought all points will hit the insurance?
Reason im worried is cuz its my dads insurance.
Oh and also my bike insurance claimed when i signed up that if i had one more violation that they would drop me... will they know since im already signed up? If this is true, im outta opitons for insurance.... which means no bike.
Thanks bros.

DOWNGRADED TO TWO POINTS?!?!?!?
jebus.
And unless you can go to traffic school, all points hit your record, which raises your insurance.
I say drop the gsr and ride the r6 all the time
EDIT: I just noticed that you're in jersey, so iono what the state rules are there...
Check ur local dmv's website

It'll affect your insurance if they find out (sometimes, rarely though, the insurance company doesnt see the points but once you change something on your policy it'll show up in the system).
The insurance company can drop you anytime they want. Have you tried looking at other insurance companies?

I dont know why my lawyer said that, thats what i thought. Shitty part about Jersey is there is no choices... no company wants to be in here.. its the highest cost of insurance in the nation.
We dont have Progressive, State Farm, Geico... all that ****... we have nothing. I had 2 choices for Motorcycle insurance, one is definatly beat and the one im on now will surely drop me if they find out.
Anyone looking for an R6? ****...
