i was driving my dads 93 accord...

i was driving my dads 93 accord and i punched it slowy in 1st gear and i heard vtec kick in... is it true that it got vtec?? its a 1993 Accord SE..

wat?? 93 accords dont have vtech... we haf a f22a engine.. there is no vtech.. vtech was design and made in 94 and up.. but yea.. 90's accords are pretty fast.. i own one.. hehehehe

well if you heard something kick in, and it's not vtec, you better get it checked out....

In '92 Honda added a dual runner intake to the EX engine (130 HP in '91 to 140 HP in '92). The intake switches runners at ~3000 rpm and changes the intake tone a bit... this might be what you heard.
