Basic tuneup, need some brands.
Well, I'm going to get a basic tuneup out of the way this weekend. I need to know what brands I should be buying. As for Sparks, I'm just going to get some NGKs.
I had thought that NGK made wires as well for the Accord, but no one seems to carry them. And I called up Honda, and their asking price for wires from them seems to expensive and they don't even carry them, they must be ordered. They told me most people buy wires from somewhere else.
Along with caps and rotors, what brand would everyone buy for those?
thanks, I tried doing a few searches, and I failed to find anything in the Accord area (maybe there is something archieved... meh.)

one time my dad used to work at a honda shop with his friend. a customer came in with problems having to do with spark... checked the wires, and they were some cheap replacement brand. they asked them if they still had the old honda wires. they said yes, and so they told them to put the old wires back on. my dad said the car ran like a charm after that. the only reason they replaced them was because of a replacement interval or something...

well, I just ordered caps and rotor off that website. I'm going to pick up some Bosch wires from autozone tomorrow (with a kevler inside, my father says it's best to go with), and some NGK sparks at the same time.

the guy I talked to up here said he had them in stock. I'm going to check/pick them up tomorrow if they have them. I'll have time to before I go to get immunization shots for college
