Main reason for these lights is to help me see at night. Friend had them in his Acura 3.2TL and I could see everything. I'm just not sure which color to get. Car is red 98 civic. Looking for some feedback.

 

i say black and so are 98% of the people on these boards. just looks clean imo.

 

your friend has neither of those. he has H.I.Ds and if you want to see better, do a retro-fit and paint the housing.

where you basically take HIDs from another car and mate it to your existing headlights.

 

So how are the dual halo at night? Are they any different than stock headlights? Just need some more lighting at night for vision.

Aftermarket projector are garbage. It doesn't really light up the road at all. It just scatters.
And yes i have had projectors in the past. The h3 bulbs did not help the projectors either.

Only way for you to get better visibility is with HIDs. But doesn't sound like you want to spend that money.
Even though if you didn't buy the projectors you would be atleast $100 closer to getting HIDs.
