ok i just got all my parts for my b18a swap. i put my flywheel, clutch disc and cover on. im trying to slide the spline into the clutch disc and its being a bitch. now from my understanding, the ys1 tranny has a larger spline than the ls tranny. am i to run the gsr clutch even tho its the b18a1? i apologize if this is a newb question but the search function didnt give me the answer iwas looking for.

anyone with any input please help me out!!
i dont want to make this a wtb ad but if anyone has one handy i would take it off our hands.

yes larger spline, and yes gsr clutch is ok.

YUP, I have the same tranny. throwout bearing for 90-93 b-series cable, everything else like a 94 and up Hydro B-series tranny

 

would the cable tranny clutch cover work?

 

what cover are you talking about? the flywheel cover?

 

the cover yoou bolt down on top of the clutch disc. i want to know if theres a difference between this and the gsr cover or if the difference just lies in the clutch disc itself

OH, You mean the pressure plate. no all the clutch parts are for a 94 and up B-series. I used a ACT clutch disc, flywheel and pressure plate off a 95 Integra for my YS1.

 

hmm time to go clutch shopping again...
