does anyone know engine parts from the CTR that are compatible with the K20A3? if so, what are the gains?

you cannot use anything from the k20a CTR head on the K20a3 head..besides the intake manifold,valve cover,exhaust manifold and possibly cam caps.You can swap k20a3 internals into a k20a/a2 head though...but you have to swap everything..cams,caps,rockers/arms,springs/retainers,valves etc.
The reason why you cannot use CTR internals in an A3 head is because the A3 head has no place to put the lost motion assemblies.

 

you couldn't use ctr pulleys, thermostat, etc.?

 

i think anything but internal components are swapable. however.
i would like to know the difference between a k20a and a k20a2/3 pulley.
