Default changed spark plugs and now theres no spark

i just changed my plugs in my integra ls and gapped them to 1.1mm. i also did a compression test. i put the new plugs in and tried to fire it up... didnt start. checked to see if theres a spark on any wire and there isnt. any ideas?

make sure you plugged your spark plug wires in all the way, and also make sure that you have them in the right order: 1-3-4-2

yeah i checked that a million times. the car was working great before i did this.

I would say your ignition coil shorted out. I did the same thing, checked the compression and re-installed the wires in the proper order and got no spark. I did get fuel though, but no spark at all. I changed the coil pack, and first try it started. Hope this helps you.

Since you did a compression test...that requires the engine turning over.

Did you make sure to put the engine at TDC before hooking everything back up?

I'm not 100% sure...but that might cuase no spark if you threw the timing 180 degrees out or so.

it was the ignition coil... i got a new one from autozone for $80 and that did it. thanks guys.
